A family business is founded
Doorfit Overseas is carved out of a family metalworking business, beginning with a focus on builders' hardware for the domestic market.
1990s–2000s
Manufacturing capability expands
Machining, casting, and finishing capability is added in-house, broadening the range from builders' hardware into cabinet, curtain, and railing fittings.
2000s–2010s
Export operations begin
The company begins exporting hardware internationally, developing packaging and documentation practices suited to overseas buyers.

Mr. Yshab
Proprietor · PhD, General Management
Mr. Yshab leads Doorfit Overseas' manufacturing and export operations, carrying forward three generations of family metalworking craft into a twelve-category hardware business now trading with partners across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. With a PhD in General Management and years spent directly on the shop floor — from casting and CNC scheduling to export documentation — he has built the company's approach around a simple principle: specification discipline should not weaken as volume grows. Under his leadership, the factory has expanded its finish library, formalized batch-level inspection at every stage of production, and invested in in-house tooling that keeps lead times predictable for overseas buyers.
